The foundation's application form must be used by private individuals, but may also be used by other applicants (organizations, etc.). Applicants are encouraged to submit only relevant supporting documents.
Private applicants are expected to provide a brief description of why they consider themselves to be covered by the foundation's distribution objectives, as well as the amount applied for. In addition, applicants are encouraged to enclose medical documentation in case of illness, their latest annual statement, etc.
Generally, private applicants can only be considered for a grant every five years, as the foundation wishes to accommodate as many private applicants as possible.
Applicants who are organizations or similar are expected to enclose a brief project description, a detailed application, if applicable, a budget with the amount applied for, and any statutes, latest annual report, etc.
Projects that require support over several years must be applied for each year, and the application should state that it is a multi-year project, specifying the number of years.
As a rule, the foundation does not grant support to the same project more than once. However, it is the foundation's clear intention that if it chooses to support a multi-year project in the first year, it will look very favorably on subsequent applications for the same project, so that a project does not have to be discontinued midway.
Application deadline
Applications must be received by the foundation by the end of February and the end of October.
Response
Applicants can expect to receive a response to their application no later than two weeks after the application has been processed by the foundation's board. No reason will be given for rejection of an application.
Applicants must ensure that their application falls within the foundation's distribution objectives to be considered.
